Do you give free quotes?
Yes. We visit, look at the job and send a written quote at no cost. There is no obligation to go ahead.
What areas do you cover?
We work across Edinburgh and about 20 miles around it. That includes Leith, Portobello, Corstorphine, Musselburgh, Dalkeith and Livingston.
Are you insured?
Yes. Carpathian Craft Ltd holds public liability insurance.
Do you do both small jobs and full renovations?
Both. A single repair or a whole-house renovation are handled the same careful way.
How do I get a quote?

Who runs the work on site?
Carpathian Craft Ltd is run by Constantin Chiciu, who has 29 years' experience in building, renovation and stonemasonry.
Do you use subcontractors?
Most trades are covered in-house. If a specialist is needed, they are vetted and coordinated by us.
How long does a typical bathroom or kitchen take?
It depends on the size and what is involved. We give a realistic timescale in the written quote after the visit.
Do I need planning permission or a building warrant?
Many internal renovations do not need permission. We can advise based on the job, and official guidance is available on mygov.scot.
What payment terms do you offer?
Terms are agreed in writing before work starts. We do not ask for full payment upfront.
