Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to work carried out by Carpathian Craft Ltd, registered in Scotland, company no. SC875138, registered office 3/4 Telford Place, Edinburgh, EH4 2PS. They are governed by the law of Scotland.

Quotes

Quotes are free and given in writing after a visit. A quote is based on what could be seen at the time. If hidden work appears once we start, we will tell you and agree any change in price before continuing.

The work

We carry out work with reasonable care and skill, using materials suitable for the job. Start dates depend on weather, access and materials, and are our best estimate rather than a guarantee.

Payment

Payment terms are set out in your quote. Larger jobs may be staged, with material costs payable up front. Invoices are due within the period stated on the invoice.

Cancellation

Where you are a consumer and the contract was agreed away from our business premises, you have 14 days to cancel. If you ask us to start within that period, you may owe payment for work already done.

Insurance and liability

We hold public liability insurance. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else which cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
